There’s always been that special something about him.
He’ll say things like, “That’s odd,” or, “Precicely.”
If you gave him a 500 page Lego book, he’d start on page 1 with the building instructions, and do each model, page by page, until it was complete, in his spare time.
He taught himself to read a bit before he turned 5. Like, reading sentences, just all of a sudden.
At the library tonight, he read me this list (the common names).
He’s still just a little boy.

















I do not doubt that he is a genius. Not at all! I think that it’s incredible that Noel taught himself to read. Lila is sort of similar to that. She is always quietly accumulating information and figuring things out without any outside help.
